Luxoris has never grown beyond the number of watchmakers it can train itself. That constraint is the house's only strategy — and the reason each piece carries a name rather than a batch number.

A bench on Rue du Rhône
Émile Roubaix opens a two-man workshop repairing pocket watches for the houses of Geneva. Within a decade he is making his own.

The first gold calibre
The AR-1 movement is finished entirely in yellow gold, establishing the material discipline the maison has never abandoned.
- 1994
Fine jewelry joins the house
A gem-setting atelier is added above the watchmaking floor, allowing stones and cases to be matched under one roof.
- Today
Fewer than four hundred a year
Production remains deliberately small. Each piece is numbered, signed, and welcomed back for servicing without limit of time.
